This amazing application also provides a great way to add file instantly to your iPhone from different cloud services such as Dropbox, Box, Google Drive and One Drive. Here are the main features of the PDF Converter Ultimate – All in one Converter.
The first thing that you will notice about PDF Converter Ultimate is the super-fast and user-friendly interface which is present in a few applications. There are no complicated settings available for the application. Everything is present right on the screen and you can select any file that you want and convert it to PDF file and vice versa.
OCR or Optical Character Recognition will let you edit the scanned images in the PDF file. So, you can edit the document using Microsoft Word or PowerPoint. This feature is really useful, if you have scanned a page in the PDF file, it will convert the page and you can make any changes to the PDF document that you want.
Multiple File Formats
According to the Cometdocs, the PDF ultimate converter works with the multiple types of file extensions such as PDF, Microsoft Office files (Excel XLSX, Word DOCX, PowerPoint PPTX), Microsoft Publisher (.pub), Text (TXT, LOG), XPS, Images (JPG, JPEG, PNG, TIFF, Open file formats (ODT, ODP, ODS). You can convert all such types of files to the PDF document and vice versa.
One of the best features in PDF Converter Ultimate is the support for the cloud services such as Dropbox, Box, Google Drive and One Drive. There are built-in integrated buttons present in the program which will let you import the PDF files with just one click. All you have to do is authorize the application with the required cloud service.
We have used this application on iPhone 6S Plus 64GB running the latest version of the iOS 10.2 and the results were astounding. The OCR feature of the application is pretty neat and it also retained the formatting of the document. So, we can edit it any word editing application. The integration with iPhone storage and different cloud services were pretty good.
No matter where the PDF file, you can always open it in the PDF Converter Ultimate, similarly, the cloud service can open files directly in the application. However, integrating the cloud service with the Google Drive can be problematic sometimes. If you have mistakenly opened the service and don’t want to use it, there is no way to go back except to quit the application and restart it again.
The process of conversion may take some time depending upon the size of the PDF file. We tried to convert a PDF file with 18 Pages and it took around 1 mins to complete the process. However, the resultant file has a pretty good quality. After conversion, there is no way to edit the file in the program. However, you can directly e-mail the file or open it other applications such as Microsoft Word. Moreover, it will not automatically upload the converted file to your account, so, you will have to do that manually.
All in all, the application works pretty great and the integration with other conversion format is also pretty good. However, it will be great if the developer will include the built-in document editor in the application. What do you think about this application? Let us know in the comments section below.
