How to Recover iTunes Backup Password in Minutes

Part 3: Configure Brute-force Attack Settings

The brute-force attack will try every possible combination of letters, numbers and then symbols until the password you set, is discovered. In order to decrease the time required to search for your password, you need to configure how long your password is, and what characters your password may contain.

For example, if your password is a combination of one or eight numbers only, you can set the Minimal length to 1, set the Maximal length to 8, and then check the “Include digit (0-9)” option.

After you clicking Next, the program will start guessing every possible password. A high performance graphic card will make the password search much faster than you expect.
