Find my iPhone is not a new feature on iOS, it was introduced in iOS 4, and however, Apple has released several updates for the improvements of this feature. The primary function of this feature is hidden in the name of it. It will help you find the lost or stolen iPhone. All you need to have is the iCloud account, and this feature enabled on your iPhone to make it work properly.

Find my iPhone requires an active internet connection on your iPhone, and you can check the location of any iPhone, ring to it, activate the lost mode or erase the complete data from your iPhone. You can either use this feature from the iCloud portal or can use it after installing the Find my iPhone app from the app store. Here’s the step by step guide to using Find My iPhone.
